Executive Secretary to the Dean of JHU Business School
Overview: Provide administrative and operational support to the Dean of the JHU Business School.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree in Business or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years working experience with top management staff
- Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A wide exposure, broad knowledge and up to date with current affairs
- Able to work perfectly under strict deadlines
- Able to take up emergency assignments and perform them effectively
- Upholds sound work ethics and is highly disciplined
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity thereof
- Possessing a tenacious attitude, friendly, honest, trustworthy, respectful, and flexible
- Able to work with minimal supervision, independently or as part of a team

MBA Program Coordinator – JHU Business School
Overview: Responsible for the coordination and administration of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs offered the Business School of James Hope University. The coordinator will work closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure the program is running efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree in Business or equivalent; Possession of Ph.D. in Business Administration shall be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in related field or in higher education administration, program management preferably in an MBA program
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students
- Familiarity with accreditation standards and procedures
- Familiarity with online admission processes and other digital marketing tools
Human Resources Officer – James Hope University
Overview: Responsible for recruiting, supporting, and promoting talent through developing, enforcing, and evaluating HR policies and managing procedures and best practices, and fostering a diverse and rewarding workplace that enables all employees to contribute to the organization at their full potential.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree, in social sciences or humanities. The candidate should in addition hold a Master’s degree, i.e., M.B.A., M.Sc. or M.A. in a related field of study.
- A minimum of 8 years working experience with top management staff
- Proven experience as HR officer, administrator, or other HR position
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Director of Admissions – James Hope University
Overview: Responsible leading the University’s admissions department as we examine, define, and conduct our admissions process and promote our programs to prospective students. The admissions director will help establish and update our procedures and criteria, work with potential students to determine their eligibility, and oversee the admissions process as we evaluate applications and issues decisions. She/he will also plan and oversee promotional activities and schedule or conduct tours, student interviews, and information sessions.
Qualifications/Characteristics
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree, and a higher degree, M.Sc., M.A. or M.B.A. in related discipline is desirable.
- A minimum of 8 years working experience as an admissions director

Head of Finance – James Hope University
Overview: Responsible for managing the operational financial administration within the University and its departments and ensuring that they follow all University financial controls throughout. The postholder will be the main source of advice within the faculty concerning the University’s financial regulations and procedures and will ensure that all financial transactions are in line with these regulations and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree, in accountancy, finance or related field; Master’s degree in accounting, finance or related field is mandatory.
- Minimum of 8 years working experience
- Must be a registered member of ICAN, ACCA or ANAN
- Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and applicable tax codes
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
